Baby Planner turns one ~ Traci branscum ~ children’s portrait photographer ~ fenton, missouri

Goodness how time goes by fast.  It seems like just a few months ago I was taking this sweet newborn’s photos.

And now Miss Karlie has turned the big ONE!

Her cake smash session was outdoors at Twin Oaks Park.   If you haven’t been to this park you must check it out.  It is a quiet little park with a walking path, gazebo and brand new playground.   It’s is tucked away and you would never know the park exist but once you visit it you will fall in love.

So back to this sweet girl’s photos…

Happy First Birthday Miss Karlie!

Thank you so much to your mom for allowing me to capture the milestones of your first year!

family time ~ traci branscum ~ Children and family portrait photographer

Welcome to a holiday weekend.   I just wanted to hop on and let everyone know that emails and phone calls won’t be returned until Tuesday September, 4th.   We will be spending time with the family this weekend.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend and look forward to lots of sneak peeks coming starting Tuesday!

Of course no blog post is complete without a picture!  Have fun “hanging out” this weekend!

photos tell stories…Traci branscum ~ children’s portrait photographer–Fenton, Missouri

So on our trip this summer I was able to capture some family photos for my dear friend Erica.   She hasn’t got to see all the edited photos yet but I wanted to take a moment here on the blog to share some special photos.

When I see these photos I am able to feel the emotions and experiences these two are having.   You see it doesn’t take sweet smiling faces to make beautiful photos.  Of course, I love great smiles and close ups but sometimes it is nice to have true memory photos.

So here is my take of a few fabulous memories of Miss Ryann and Miss Rylee.

Love…Love…Love these black and whites!

Promise to post these beautiful girls smiling faces in the next blog post!  Thanks for a wonderful vacation and the opportunity to capture some memories for you Erica!

Trey is one! … traci branscum ~ children’s portrait photographer ~ fenton, missouri

Sweet Trey turned one!   You might remember this little guy from his 9 month session here.    This little man was such a trooper as well as his family!  We originally had this session planned a couple of times in July but the St. Louis heat this summer didn’t cooperate much for an early evening session.  Finally we decided to go ahead and give it a try.   I am so glad we did!

Trey is at the wonderful age of exploration.  Wants to see everything and get up close with it all.  Poor little man is also at the age of getting lots of new teeth.   However, he did wonderful and gave us some great big smiles!

We met up at Bee Tree Park for this session.   What a unique park we have here in St. Louis.  Beautiful building and flower gardens.  (not to mention a fountain that Trey was extremely interested in!)

First up we grabbed some shots of this great trio!

Don’t you love the big red barn!

Then over to the gardens…

Last it was time to get in some first birthday cake fun!  (yes, it was still a 100 degrees out at this time as well)  Trey really did wonderful at the session and was such a trooper!

Happy Belated First Birthday Trey!

Thanks again “S” Family for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your family and help capture these memories for you.

Such cute pictures! I love the barn door 🙂 Great job as always Traci!

Ben turns one!… traci branscum ~ children’s portrait photographer ~ fenton, mo

You might remember this little handsome guy from this post.  Mr. Grins and giggles himself turned one year old.   He is walking like a pro and babbling quite a bit.  Best of all he still has that adorably sweet smile.  We captured some family photos first while Mr Ben was all clean!  He loved being outdoors and cruising  with mom and dad!  He was full of smiles even in the extra warm temperatures we have had here in St. Louis.

Then it was on to the cake time.  Mom told me before hand that he didn’t seem to interested in his cake at his party earlier but we definitely wanted to give it try.  He seemed pretty excited at first to touch it.  However, once he realized it was messy he didn’t want more to do with it.  So we improvised and played around with the cake and still got wonderful photos of the special memory of his 1st birthday.

Mom ordered this cute little onesie from a local Etsy store store here in town as well.  My sweet friend Jen over at Swanky Shank custom makes adorable hipster clothing for boys and girls.   Definitely check her out and then of course schedule a session to have some photos made in the new digs.

Thanks again “T Family” for allowing me the opportunity to photograph this fun occasion for you and thanks Ben for those sweet baby smiles!

Happy 1st Birthday Ben!
