kylie {senior session} … Traci Branscum Photography ~ Webster Groves, Missouri

So I must start this post by admitting my fear of this session.    I started my business in 2009 as a newborn, children and family photography.   It was what I knew as I had just had 2 children and had another on the way.  So the thought of photographing anything outside of that has never been in my comfort zone really.   This past summer I have pushed those boundaries by photographing my first full destination wedding as well as my first senior session.

So when this lovely young ladies mother called to schedule a possible session.   We talked a lot about what they were wanting as well as my lack of experience in the area of senior photography.   Thank goodness they were willing to take a leap of faith on me as this session was PERFECT!

Kylie is such a natural in front of the camera!   She is such a stunningly beautiful young lady!

She is truly gorgeous and a fun personality as well.   She was so easy to chat with and the session went so quickly and smooth on my side.   We talked about future college plans and all kinds of stuff.   There is no doubt that she is going to do wonderful wherever she decides to go.

I didn’t have to break out in any toddler songs, animal sounds or achoo’s for these fabulous shots!

We ended the session with lots of fun casual shots and of course had to include their lovely pup!

Great job Traci. I knew they would turn out great. However, when you have someone as beautiful, outgoing, and photogenic as Kylie I’m sure that made it a little easier!

Karen Giordano - November 21, 2013 - 9:09 pm

Really adorable! Can’t wait to meet Zander in person!

What a special little guy Jack is!   Jack’s mom called to set up his newborn session and we talked a lot about how his session would go.   His parents were informed that Jack has a rare disorder causing his sweet little bones to be brittle and at high risk for breaking.   We knew he would spend some time in the NICU once he arrived.   He then even decided to come a bit early.  Once he got home we scheduled the session at their home.  His parents are rock stars and mom did all the moving of sweet little Jack for the photos.   We tried to keep the session as simple as possible and limit movements.   This little man wanted nothing to do with sleeping.   So we improvised and captured beautiful photos of him with his parents and around  his super stylish nursery.

Looks at all his hair!!

He gave us sweet little smiles….

His perfect little fingers and sweet puckered lips….

Aren’t the colors of the nursery adorable!   Love the grey and yellow together.

Thanks so much W Family for allowing me to opportunity to photograph sweet baby Jack!

Such a cutie, love those little feet!!

So excited when I got the email from Lyndsey they were expecting another new arrival.  I had last seen them at Ben’s cake smash session a year ago and now it was time for his 2 year photos.  What a perfect chance to capture him as the big 2 and as a big brother!

Ben is all boy.  Loves balls, trains and trucks.

Of course like any little boy – he also loves being outside.  So he and I ventured outside for some out door photos while mom and dad took care of baby Matthew.

Then it was time to capture some photos of the new family of four.

Ben was very sweet to his new baby brother.  With gentle kisses and touches.

And of course we captured some new photos of Matthew.   He was the perfect newborn.  Soon after his feeding he went into sweet baby slumber for us.

Isn’t he just perfect@

Love the earthy home feel to these new few…

We even got a little grin…

Thanks so much T family for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your sweet little guys.  I hope you love the sneak peek and your gallery will up soon.

A few more in black and white that have my favorite timeless feel.

Trey Turns Two! Traci Branscum ~ Children’s Portrait Photographer ~ Fenton, MO

This past year has gone by so quickly and how happy I was to have received an email from Trey’s mom about capturing some 2 year photos.   This time last year we were battling very hot temperatures at his first birthday cake smash session.

This year we went to one of my favorite spots for little boy photos – The Museum of  Transportation.   What little boy won’t give you smiles when surrounded by trains and airplanes.

This year the temperatures were absolutely perfect for this fun family session as well.  Look how happy Trey is on the big #2 train.

We strolled around the area and captured some fun family photos as well.

Trey was fun and silly.   Exactly how a two year old should be!

Thanks again S family for allowing me the opportunity to photograph Trey again this year!
